Eleni Karakitsou is a Surveying Engineer and Transportation Engineer at ScienTra Consulting Engineers I.K.E. and also a member of the Research Team of the Department of Surveying at the University of West Attica. She holds a degree in Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. As a Transportation Engineer, she specializes in the design and analysis of transportation networks, road safety, and sustainable mobility. She has the technical knowledge and experience in the use of advanced GIS and CAD software and has contributed to infrastructure projects that improve the quality of life for citizens.
Her expertise lies in the field of Transport, specifically in traffic flow analysis, transportation systems, and the design of transportation infrastructure. Eleni Karakitsou combines practical experience with a strong interest in research, having participated in European programs, as a volunteer in the Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) program within the framework of the “GREENMO – Promoting Green and Inclusive Mobility Hubs” project, and as a collaborator in the “Shared Mobility Action Programmes Exchange” (SMAPE) project of the Interreg Europe program.
