Development of a system for the detection of illegal vehicles in public areas and squares of the Municipality of Athens

The object of this study is the development of a model system for the detection of illegal vehicles in public areas (squares/pedestrian streets) using sensors. At the same time, a strategic plan will be developed to raise public awareness through the formulation of relevant interventions.

The ultimate aim of the study is to provide a set of practical tools for the prevention of illegal parking and illegal passage of vehicles in public spaces of the Municipality of Athens.
