Christina Georgopoulou is a Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineer at ScienTra Consulting Engineers Ltd., and concurrently a scientific collaborator at the University of West Attica. She holds a degree in Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering from the University of West Attica, specializing in Development Projects and Transportation Engineering. She won the 2nd Prize in Transport at the European Transport Society for Young Researchers (EESYM) “Dimitrios Tsampoulas” Award in 2023. She has participated in the Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) program within the Shared Mobility Action Programmes Exchange (SMAPE) project under the Interreg Europe program. She has a scientific publication in the International Journal of Sustainable Architecture and Civil Engineering titled “Hardcore Brownfield sites: The case of the Chemicals and Fertilizers Factory (Lipasmata) in Drapetsona, Piraeus, Greece.”
Her specialization focuses on traffic engineering, transportation planning, sustainable development, and geoinformation systems. Her interest in in the field of feasibility study and construction projects reflects her commitment to scientific analysis and designing energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable solutions in the field of transportation and urban planning.
