The object of this study is the macroscopic analysis of road accidents on the old Antirrio – Ioannina Highway for the period 2009-2016, based both on the absolute number of fatal accidents and the victims in them as well as on corresponding indicators of severity and risk based on the traffic vehicle kilometers.
