The purpose of the project is to define the updated indicators of parking space requirements, in order to form the basis for the change of Presidential Decree 111/2004, as well as the integration of additional qualitative and quantitative variables concerning the correlation of parking needs with public transport penetration. More specifically, it includes:
- Update of the number of the required parking spaces in the current Presidential Decree 111/2004
- The design of the system to reduce the number of required parking spaces as defined above
- The addition of new (not existing in Presidential Decree 111/2004) categories with parking requirements
- Update of the requirements for large vehicles, existing in Presidential Decree 111/2004
- Update of the additional conditions, restrictions and prohibitions, existing in Presidential Decree 111/2004.
